President of Marklin GmbH gone

Whoo. We are seers of the future.

I predicted in February 2008 at the Fair in Nuremberg, that the actual President of Marklin GmbH will not last due his lack of knowledge on the train business and his negative to confront real problems and face the Dealers.

This guy, denied us and all US Dealers the opportunity to have a meeting to discuss the tremendous problems that all of us face in USA.

The Team he named is also the most incompetent that ever Marklin had. One "Export Director" that is a joke as he also does not want to answer real questions, respond to problems or take action to solve what the American Market is demanding from Marklin.

Yes, he had a few trips to USA, but we ask for what? to do what?

Why he never has gone to see real large Dealers and speak one to one with them and take actions on what Dealers are complaining?

Why not alow the Dealers that want to do so to comeback to the Factory Direct program so North American Customers and Collectors can take advantages on a Global Pricing that is they same for all? What is Marklin afraid of from US Dealers? What is behind this deal with Walthers trains?

Of couse the hand of Fred Gates is behing all this, that now, after getting his retirement that was all what he wanted, now is a "consultant" of Marklin GmbH.

Consultant of what? On how to destroy and Industry? He is very good on that. He even destroyed his own business Marklin Inc.


I will say now and will stay here for History, that this guy, the Export Manager will not last either and if there is a owner or someone who cares at Marklin GmbH, the actual high management of the firm must be revised and many removed.
